I’ve witnessed dedication to the extreme over the past few days as our two athletes step into their respective training methodologies for the Broad Street Run. Below are two images I was able to capture as Rich and Mike trained. I had to snap a few shots before I got some that weren’t blurry from all the excessive movement.
Mike: “Most runners aren’t aware of the importance of jaw strength. Also, mandible flexibility is crucial in racing. It helps with smack talk.”
Rich: “I like to drink as much Coke as possible before a race. Something about the bubbles…they lift my spirits and make me feel lighter.”
I’ll keep tabs on their training regimen in the weeks ahead. They’re revolutionizing race preparation as we know it.
